Have You Prayed Tonight, Desdemona?

My best friend has a thing for Othello. This is for her- even though it's not very good.

Othello, Act 5 Scene 2

It's Only A Paper Moon

#2 Pencil

Amazing song. A DS9 episode of the same title was it's inspiration, along with the scene from A Streetcar Named Desire.

Simplification of Image

Cut paper

Again with the 'Trek references...although this one came out pretty fly.

Untitled (3 Themes)

Sharpie, Prismacolor pencil

I really wonder how long my teacher can put up with my constant Star Trek references.

Variations on a Theme

Cut paper

This one was fun.
(I don't know if you can see the Watchmen reference on the last one.)

Untitled (Monogram Wheel)

Prismacolor pencil.
(Sorry you can see the carpet. The two letters are 'K' and 'B')

Pandora's Torment

Kissing Ghosts

Done 2009 after a particular nasty break-up.

(Accompanying Poem):

I guess she's your treasure now,
the thought whispers through my mind.
Emotion floods, hate and sorrow
In equal amounts.

I don't quite have the will
to confront it-
just more lines to say.
Hollow words on an empty stage.

The part I have to play
Is well known
And easy to slip into.
You don't realize I know.

Imagination and memory
Trickle, and then cascade into my mind.
What could. Should. Would have happened.
If only I had-?

The image fades with the understanding,
And I'm left,
alone,
Kissing ghosts in the rain.

Benjamin Linus: Shades of Gray

This sketch I did last summer as I watched insane amounts of Lost (which I still do). I love the character of Ben, hence, this.

And the original: (minus the lettering...which actually kinda works)
